    :bulletred: Welcome to Elves on DA, a community for all who love/like/obssess over elves and elf-like characters, this includes: Tolkien, dark/drow, forest, winged, vampiric, elemental, made up, Elfquest, even santa elves and any other you can think of!

    Sorry for the lack of updates - ever since a Windows Update two weeks ago, I have not been able to get online. It disabled my ethernet adapter. I'm borrowing my friend's computer to post this. After fruitlessly trying to fix the problem myself, giving up and then contacting support, I have been bounced around from my ISP, to the adapter's manufacturer, to the computer's manufacturer, to Microsoft and back again.

    After two weeks, no one has given me any real help or solutions. So, I am just going to bite the bullet and reformat my hard drive. I just got an external hard drive to back up as much as I can. I hope this will fix the problem. If not, I don't know what I am going to do....and, I will have lost all my settings and preferences for nothing.

    Anyway, wish me luck. If all goes according to plan, I should be able to do some updating tomorrow. The contest deadline will be extended, of course. ;)
